Bio:	Having previously taught at Harvard and Amherst, Professor Kent joined Ohio Wesleyan's faculty in 1976 and currently holds a joint appointment in Modern Foreign Languages and in Humanities-Classics. He received his B.A. from the University of the Americas, his M.A. and Ph.D. in Spanish from Harvard University. In addition to teaching courses in Spanish language and literature, he teaches humanities courses that focus on modernism. Currently he is director for the University's Salamanca Program for Spanish language students. Professor Kent has also received Ohio Wesleyan's senior teaching award, the Bishop Herbert Welch Meritorious Teaching Award.
